No matter the band, no matter the genre, there will ALWAYS be people who hate covers or who love the cover better than the original. Bands cover songs because they like a song and want to make it their own, give it their own sound, adapt it to their style. 311 has done just this. There is nothing wrong with this version. There is nothing wrong with the Cure's version.
