Yes, but I was presenting a new hypothetical which I think maps to reality in at least as many cases as yours. What was your answer to that one? Pretend the problem doesn't exist? I don't want a check. I would like every child in TX to be able to afford to become doctors if they have the drive and aptitude.

What if Pam has a 2.0 GPA because she doesn't come from money and instead spends all of her time working a high-stress job?Do you really think that a CEO who makes 400 times as hard as his employees? Study after study shows that the strongest determinant of success in school is how wealthy the parents are. Is that all really genetic? It takes intervention to strive toward inequality. The invisible hand favors the rich.

Cornyn supported the taxpayer bailout of Wall Street against free market principles (but in line with fascist principles) and against the wishes of the majority of Americans. He sent out an email to everyone who contacted him about the bailout saying that the bailout made him mad, but he had to do it. The guy is a sellout when it matters most.

The least thing he could have done is memorize his speech. It is NOT that long. I am so bored with people who want our vote and want us to believe what they are saying yet they continually stand and read speeches they stumble through like they are reading them for the first time. Yawn. Don't get me wrong, I am not supporting his opponent,however I am having a hard time believing this guy.

Please Texas vote Rick Noriega in office. I know this is a red state, but if you are REPUBLICAN don't vote a straight party ticket. Put Texas BEFORE party. I am an Independent and I voted for Cornyn. But I am voting for Rick Noriega now! John Cornyn has had his chance and he is not right for Texas. Vote Early, Vote Noriega! Early voting started today--get to the polls!

Maybe he didn't sign that bill because it was shown that Rick Perry received money from the company that makes the HPV virus, meaning by signing the bill it would have benefitted those who manufacture the vaccine.
