I never thought much of our anthem(US born) until I heard this rendition.Passion trumps technical perfection.I feel like going 2 war when i hear her sing this.

you right manny looks a lot younger during the barrera fight in 2003. yet i don't recall lani doing the anthem in any pacquiao-morales fight, might have missed it though. what i remember the commentator of the bout in 2003 was very impressed with lani that he went on to say, "what a beautiful anthem". this is not this...

i might be wrong though but either way i don't blame him for not paying attention to the anthem... in your big fights your mind has to be focused on one thing... the fight
