different lineages maybe? It's the same with the taming the tiger form, all demonstrations are really different. :-)

Hi Marc,First, I would like to humbly state that there is a difference in a form and display of one's skill level; the first others can "steal" as they are just movements, the latter is nto so easy. Secondly, with regards to your questions on the iron wire form, these are questions best to be answered by your own sifu. I hope I have been helpful; thank you sir.

Hi there, first of all - sorry for my bad english. I am not a native speaker... I do have a question in regards to the iron wire form.As far as I know it is an internal form for strenght - plus it is a rather secretly guarded form! In my school people might learn this form after 20 years of training...why would someone do this form in public and along with music ?dont mean to be disrespectful - there is lots to learnsincerelymarc

Hi ChiTownBlackDragon,There are a ton of things that can be said about Hung Ga's use of sound in calling up and shaping the power...all I will say is that it is not so much improper sounds that can cause problems, but improper forcing/placing of power and lack of timing with sound, breath and movement that cause the issues. I trust I responded favorably.

Very nicely done. Sifu Bey's - could you please brief expound on both the positive benefits of doing this set properly as well as the negative effects of doing this set incorrectly? (medicinal, psychological, physical). Many do not realize that the sounds being made, when done correctly come from deep within the body, and vibrate the organs, and can cause serious damage to the practitioner. This may not be the proper forum, but if you could share you thoughts that would be great.

Huge respect as always! Funily enough in my ignorance when I started researchingthe Hung Ga system, Iron wire was a form that interested me the least, as i felt it had such little practical use. Through time and understanding I obviously now hold this form in the Highest regard. Sifu Sharif Bay clearly demonstrates why, very well done. Insparational
