for this job u dont need any profesional help, or u do if u are so stupid same for changing oil from ur car, this is so easy job and smart guys from america geting rly nice money from stupid ppl like u are bcs somebody told u that u can hurt ur self or even die,but if u consider that u can die when u fall from ur bike...so evry fucking job have risk and u just need to relax and dont think on any mistake and u never get hurted! PPL is so stupid when they call service for such an stupid things

I've had a few comments about the 2x4's. They are due to the hurricane building codes at the time my house was built (1995 - S. Florida). The codes have probably changed since then. - Gary

and springs off of ebay prolly wont be gauged for the weight of that door. specially with all those wood struts. lol.

You're right about the serious injuries people get when attempting to work on doors. Had one about a month ago, the guy decided he would get his mother's 16X7 Clopay door unstuck because it was sitting crooked. He took the lags out of the one bottom brkt. and of course all the tension went to the left cable. So then he goes over and removes the lags from the left brkt. The thing came up and almost took his head off. The brkt. just grazed him but he was a little woozy for the rest of the day.

I also do garage doors. Changing your oil is not going to get your face ripped off. I have gone to a few jobs where people tried to do it themselves. One guy ruined his left hand for the rest of his life, and as I said one guy literally got his face ripped up. Call a professional!

yeah you should never do this ever you should call precision garage door for ever thing people you will get hurt i was a tech and i know these things without the right tools can be fatal so please just spend the extra 40 50 bucks and get it done right
