I didn't really get into AYBS until after John Inman died, but I was sad when I found out, anyway. What's awesome though, is that he got to marry his partner before he died.

As well as being synonymous waith the character of Mr Humphries he was one of the finest pantomine dames ever. I saw him several times on stage. A great actor and a true gentleman. We shall miss him.

I was brought up with AYBS on the television. I have always loved John Inman and the way he camped up the carachter. he actually contributed in a real way to more acceptance of gay people in the UK. An utterly brilliant comedy actor, fantastic live on stage and a genuinely warm and lovely man. I live now in his home town (Blackpool). A sad miss. God bless you john.

I hate American sit-coms. After seeing the brilliant writing and comedy of shows like AYBS, I just can't stomach the stupidity of most American TV humor.

What a shame he passed away recently. He was great comedian a lovely person.
