Party at My House/Badada - original

Thanks to everybody who has left me such kind and encouraging words in the week since I started posting videos. I wanted to use this vid as a response to the three videos that directly inspired it, but you can only attach it to one I guess.The "words over words" picture style is from pennilesscripple.path-ology - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v... not a rap, but as close as I could get. The song style was inspired by zzz's White Men Can't Jump - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v... the papers I held and the entire third verse are in reference to superfrodies laid back response to haters, or fakers as it was in this case.To: fake zzz33333 - GET ON THE BUS! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v... kept a "one-take" mentality through this whole thing. Not that these are first takes, but that I did the whole thing from start to finish with no punch-ins or edits. So it took a ton of takes for each part. Four tracks of singing and guitar, uninterupted runs of lipsyncing/sign holding. All over and over until I got one take of each that didn't annoy me with too many mistakes.Still there are plenty of errors if you keep an eye/ear out. zzz's sign is sideways being a big one, but I reckon he's used to looking at things differently so I didn't redo it again.Ready to try it on your own? I didn't use any software that isn't also available for free/demo, except I did some of the text with the free watered-down software that came with my video camera. Movie Maker can do that almost as well though, a Mac can probably do even better.If you have any questions though just let me know. Short on sleep from working on this so I'm crashing now.
