thats a series of lightning fast harmonics, its not too hard to do. first of all do the fastest trill you can manage between the open string and a fretted on and then rest your right hand lightly on the bridge of the guitar as move it towards the nut while doing the trill, u need lots of gain for it

he's doing a little odd tapping . u can do it with the pick if u want. u put u left hammering and pulling off on the 5 fret of the a string and sliding your pick on the string. get it?

You're trying to compare two different types of guitaists though. The stuff that Satriani and Vai play is completely different from Moore, Blackmore and SchenkerIt's like trying to compare apples and oranges. What's the point?

honeslty you can't compare the three. They may play the same blues, but they have diffrent tones, diffrent phrasing, completly diffrent approaches to how they play the blues. All 3 are great, Claptons style would have to be my favorite though, then Gary, then John.

gary moore is just another guitar player that impress people,just like steve vai,joe satriani,john fruscinte,kirk hammett,cesar huesca and all the rest,you don't have to put them in a top 10 of the world but you have to put them in a top 10 of yourself.We have all diffrent ears...remember
