This act got whizzed through congress, without many people reading it.Yet voting for it?Isn't that what happened last week too,when congress passed the Wall street bail out?What exactly do congress men and women do?How can they vote for things they don't understand because they haven't been given time to read it?How can Americans have confidence in their elected office bearers,when it's pretty clearthat they don't seem to represent those people that elected them?

1: who is "u fuckers?" 2: the Patriot Act gives govt. the right to declare ANYONE a criminal, so yeah, this "potential criminal", as u state, is AGAINST it. 3: the purpose of the govt. is to protect people's rights. i will NOT "give up my essential liberties for temporary security." doing so would garuntee that i am no longer secure.

The US. Constitution states that your home can not be searched without a legal signed Search Warrant from an Official Federal Judge. Also out of the 1,000 people detained and imprisoned without due process of a Court before jury NONE OF THEM were connected to Terrorists, terrorism, or any terrorist organization. Enough Said.

I dunno man, if I'm sitting in a restaurant talking with my wife, I wouldn't want some total douchebag pulling up a chair and sitting there, listening intently to my private conversation and I'd be pissed that there's nothing I can do about it.Boy I feel sorry for you guys that people don't take leading a country as seriously as it should be. I hope your next leader doesn't turn out to be a douchebag too.
