It might be pointless for you, but I am sure some people will find use for it, ie people that get a lot of voice mails a day. At one point, one would want to filter what is more important to listen to with what is less important.Anyways, don't we do that already? If you use corporate email at work, we unconsciously filter through the tons of emails to read the ones that are from: the boss, tagged urgent, etc.Who says it might not work with email?

For one thing, if they speak into a bad mic it will say wdhgikybrhsynj 45ybtdhjrtehtjdri.Next, TELUS in Canada now gives you visual voicemail on Windows Mobile! Yay! Visual Voicemail in Canada!

I work at a Bank, and I receive a ton of phone calls every day that I don't aren't that important compared to some. I don't have time to listen to every one, so I just look at who called and quickly read the message to decide if I should call them back or not.

I recieve calls on and off the hook every day, and sadly, most calls aren't that important. Seeing as I don't have the iPhone, i can't choose which voicemail i want to listen too. With SimulScribe, I can choose which one and read the text as well. Point is, Simulscribe is an excellent alternative to the iPhone Visual Voicemail. My friend has an iPhone, with Simulscribe on it...and loves it.

Great point. With Simulscribe, on most newer phones, you download an application to your phone that lets you listen to your voicemail and read the text without having to even make a call or use SMS. For those who's phones aren't compatible with it you can configure to recieve SMS or EmailI'm not sure why I put "Best of all, its cheaper" there. My fault.

yeah, sorry, who the hell wants to read a 5 minute message. Especially if it's a version that sends it through sms, wow, 8 messages to read one voicemailAnd what does cost have to do with it? You are comparing a service to a product? Not to mention the product offers the service for free and has more features?btw, not a fanboy, enjoying my Tmob Dash

SimulScribe is way better. It actually is VISUAL voice mail. It transcribes messages into text that you can read unlike the iPhone. Best of all, its cheaper.
