Yes, to me it does matter. I still appreciate his music, but I lost allot of respect for him when I heard he was Scientologist. I like to know the source of the inspiration and respect integrity of the creator(if they have it). If I want something that just sounds okay then, why not Kelly Clarkson or someother crap. Anyways thanks to the guy that answered my question instead of attacked me.
