Very good - live in Ireland where strawberries are everywhere this time of year!! Just one little question - the lids you used - are these commercial lids or are they only available in the US? Over here it is usually mothers, grandmothers who use old jam jars!! I have a stock in my pantry waiting for my first jam making session! My favourite jam is Gooseberry - have you ever tried it?? Absolutely Yummy!! :)

Glad you found it! My kids LOVE this too! They even like it better than the grocery store jams =) Works with other berries too.

It just takes a stir after opening to solve that, Bdawg. It could be you didn't cook the mixture long enough to gel more... but the taste should still be incredible! Does it float up after processing, or is it that way from when you first filled the jar?

The Ball company sells jars that you can use for canning and stuff...they sell everything you need for canning...a cood company You can find their stuff at most stores |
