Jimi always makes me feel his passion , I named my daughter Jimi .. 27 years ago ... he still gives me chills to listen to him .. awesome version of Red House ... ty for posting it.... MUSTANGKW

still kickin.I lived through the passing of Jimmy and Janis. Jimmy wasn't just a player. He was the originator. Jimmy played better than any other guitar player, even though he was on everything, including the kitchen sink! God I miss him and janis, stevie also and the others who passed this world like a comet in the night. The worst demons we fight are the ones within. God is the one who gives the gift. Just wish I had it.

I respectfully disagree. Jimi set the standard for solo rock/roll/blues electric guitar that everyone else emulated. He was, and is, the gold standard of guitarists. All great guitarists are compared to Jimi. If his accuracy was so bad, he would have been just a flash in the pan who died way too young. I always thought that there was 10 peoples' worth of talent in Jimi and thats why he was always pushing the envelope. Just my opinion.
