the sniper rifle alone is about $11,000 I saw one in a store for that price but it's a long process of paper work and waiting. The automatic .50 cal's we put on our armored humvee's, tanks etc are more especially when the gov't buys them

I don't understand, how does anyone get a hold of a .50 Caliber sniper rifle and just shoot it freely? Do military personal keep their equipment when they are off duty or are they required to leave that kind of stuff on base?

50 cal wouldnt make it, you need a 30mm "avenger" minigun (the current anti-tank weapon)
