Cause there's different instructors and it'd be pretty frustrating to fuse a certain kind of video together only to find out someone just added another.

It is "safe" in the sense that you're not going to break your own neck if you do, but you could potentially give yourself a very stiff neck for a few days following. Also, when you get strong enough to where you can do more than 12 on each side, you can add 5 pound ankle weights to the routine. These will get you ripped abs. I'm a professional climber and you will get very strong from these.
