Mix up consonants and vowels so you don't "trip over" yourself. Use combinations of T-K and D-G and Tuh Kuh vs, Tee Kee (Dee -gee), Too-Koo, Tah-Kah, etc. I learned this trick from Alain Marion.

Well not only does mixing it up make double tounging flow more naturally but it sounds less boring in my opinion.

I find it easier to repeat the same over and over because I can consentrate....

Hi Nina - your videos are really helpful! Just wondering, would using this technique with articultion be a good idea for the end part of cesar francks sonata in a major movement two? thanks

THANK YOU! I have watched countless videos and this one has helped me the most. I play the trumpet and I am playing Concert Etude. So this has helped me SOOOOOo much

i understand what you mean about changing it, it can also tire your tongue out and stuff to keep it tu ku all the time or whatever, but i find it easier to keep it the same... i dunno haha. but i guess everyone finds the best way for themselves. when i try to change a lot i just get confused and also at the moment if i change it affects the sound.ill keep that advice in mind though, its qute clever and as i improve at double tonguing it may change for me.thankyou!!xx
