In the late 70's, however, he began to mature and confront his demons. At the time of his death, I really think he was in the midst of a major transformation...he was really beginning to find his niche. I think he would have gone on to do great things...musically and otherwise. I don't know about the Yoko asking for a divorce two weeks prior to his death part, I've never heard that before.

I love the beatles, but Yoko ruined them.. no, I should say she ruined John, and frikken tore John and Julian apart. Freaking psycho woman, she was. I hate how she's such a hypocrite with all the Peace shit. She wanted a divorce from John 2 weeks before he died! quidwitch...John ruined John. He was heavily influenced by drugs and alcohol, and with his delicate psyche, he developed mental and emotional problems. He was not fit to be a father and really wasn't a good husband. (con't)
