Shut it you fag Im a geek, all that is Wrong. Standard combat load for any belt fed weapon is a 3-1 ratio of ammo, three rounds, and then one tracer. Tracers are utilized to direct friendly fire and spot targets for larger fires.Mini-gun's are only used a a battalion level and in a support role. I think someones been on COD4 for too long! :]wow, know it alls shure do piss me off.

We have 4-1 ratio every 5th round are tracer on our FN MAG 58 (M240)think its the same whit our Fabrique Nationale Minimi its hard too see were youre round goes whit out tracers(special at night whit the standard sight dont know how it is too operate the M240 whit the red dot sight?). About give youre pos away i dont think it metters as much when the firefight is on for the enemy you are shooting at but i agree it gives youre pos away much more if you having enemys on the side of youre pos.

No, the M61 fires 20mm, the GAU-8A fires 30mm. They are all rotary cannon.
