ok, in response to the price: they needed to support a large crowd, so they needed a venue, the venue would be taking a large proportion of the ticket price, plus they had what looks like an expensive lighting rig (not that im an expert on lighting) and a very clean live sound, this wasnt a tin hut gig, they needed the money or the show wouldn't have been any good.

there were actually a lot of bands playing it was like a festival and shit i would have paid the money to fly out form the states to london and paid the entrance fee to get in to that seriously i would have paid any price if i would have known about it a couple months in advance

why are people freaking out just cause he used a backing band to sing some awesome songs that people in the crowd was excited to hear and sing along to just cause people had to pay to get in, did you see the size of the space i doubt they would have let them use it if they made it a free concert and of course someones gonna attack me or call me an asshole. Never thought anarchists could be such whiny little babies honestly.

Also people saying 'play a squat' does a squat look like it could support that kind of croud? And crass lyrics still have meaning today to different people, Dick heads tend to forgot the good things crass have done and from day 1 when they outlined there political beliefs people have been waiting for them to slip up. Crass are not sell outs nor money chasetrs and 30 years of music and political beliefs can not be disregarded after 1 gig. People need to fucking open there eyes. Rant over

Everyone slagging off crass. Everyone knows Penny Rimbaud was the driving force behind crass and one persons actions dosent make the whole bands political beliefs invalid. This wasent a gig to make money this was a celebration of Anarchopunk music i.e Flux,Conflict etc. Steve ignorant is about 50now so what if he is makin a bit of money for himself in his later life. Anyone doubting crass look at Penny still living by his beliefs 30 years. Also people buying £15 shirts are rippin them selfs off.

Seems like the crowd enjoyed it. The price was cheap compared to most gigs and if anyone thinks earning money from music is selling out, go tell it to the buskers!Steve looks like he has put some weight on.
