Ya right. Tesla would lose millions off an affordable car. The main expense is Lithium battery of the electronic parts. In the next 50 years you will hear more of tesla.

We need a family car from TESLA. I would buy an electric car in a heart beat if they could make them affordable for the common family budget. GM had the EV1 but because of their cooperate greed and stupidity they cut their own throats. I encourage all to see the movie who killed the electric car. It is a real eye opener.

Hope they get these done and to the general public by 2012, if so buy the solar option, you'll never have to recharge, the solar flares from the sun turning to face us will keep it well charged at that point
