I'd say that 3 bits from the host portion creates 8 usable subnets (not 6).and don't argue with me about this, I know the stuff about all zeros or all ones.

A mask of 225!? DOH! That is one Swiss cheese holey mask. When was the last time you saw a mask defining the network that looked like 11100001 in binary.ROLMO! You could drive a car through that. Ah what fun.
