it's amazing how popular the NWO got and how much heal heat they had. one of the best times of pro wrestling, bar none. nothing will ever come close to how it was in 1996 and 1997.

apparently the nwo was supposed to beat down piper on nitro for revenge from starrcade the previous night and the giant was about to chokeslam him but he didn't and yeah...
