Mark and Howard also worked with Springsteen, most notably on "Hungry Heart." Ironically, in their live act as Flo and Eddie they always savagely satirize Bruce, doing their impression of his singing by sticking a shoe in their mouths.

Turtles, invited to play at the White House. Guess his daughter requested them which was a first for a Quasi hippie band. I think 2 from the band went to play with Frank Zappa.

My wife was born in '63. Whenever she sais, "let's go to a movie" I reply, "I think you're groovy" She sais "Huh?"I'm not kidding. This song hit such a chord in my brain, it's still alive 40 years later.

I love this song, and the line "you're my pride and joy et cetera." It's like "Sure I love you, whatever!" Elenore, gee I think you're swell - I'll use that line with my wife.
