I don't think that henson would've wanted the muppets to be associated with what disney has become, ie hannah montana. Disney went from a creative company to a money-hungry organization.

I remember he wanted to do that, and really like the idea that the muppets would have a home there, but i think we all agree that their fates have been mismanaged, that oz tv movie was horrid, and i guess that just fingers a sore wound for people longing for jim's magici mean if you weigh thier 30th anniversary against thier 50th.. it's just sad

Though I am mad that Disney bought The Muppets from the Muppet Show but has never used them since the Muppets Wizard of Oz which was a flop. I am even more mad that Disney bought the word Muppet so now the Sesame Street characters and the other Jim Henson puppets can't even be called Muppets anymore. Not even the original Muppets from his 1950's local show Sam and friends.

I don't know if anyone here did their research but just to let you know Jim Henson was originally gonna sell his company to Disney so he can focus on the creative side of things. The deal fell through after he died, but Brian Henson revived the deal.

I loved it I am so very glad that there are other people pissed off about disney ruining Henson FANTASTIC ideas. Thank you all. Maybe some day one of our children will come up with something that great again. One can only hope right.

True, but when Eisner took over the Walt Disney Company in 1984 it was ailing to say the least and he saved it. But I appreciate that he is shockingly meglomanic

1. Doubt I could put it in a film festival, since 97% of the material in it I don't own the rights to.2. Video editor was Adobe Premiere 5, CGI renderer was Truespace 4, and Photoshop 6 for some of the matte effects and the lightsaber duel.

Okay, #1 THAT should be submited to a film festival and it WILL win! #2: What editing program did you use? It was all awesome!!! |
