Cute and all, but I can only see shortcomings with a vac like that.
sspoke (May 23, 2008 at 4:58 am)
it doesn't, it randomly walks around and when it bounces into a wall it will rotate until it could move again.

i seen commericals these robot vacs automatically charge themselves sooner or later by walking back to the charger and then resuming the job of cleaning your room I guess this is a little outdated model but yah these things are okay

It "maps" the room, so the next time your to LAZY to vacuum your floor it will be a little faster and the v. wall just tells it dont cross this point. I would think it could do 2 rooms if there wasn't so much crap in the way, every time it hits something it turns around and in essence goes over the floor or at least some sections of it 2-3 times before it gets the whole room.... Just vacuum it yourself in 1/3 of the time

it looks like it will take forever to clean one room with it!

I have a roomba and I love it. My Roomba goes forever, I dont have the issue with the battery not lasting. I can use this for my entire house in one session, my house is over 2000 sq ft. It takes about an hour and it gets everything very clean.

It has grid pattern technology. It knows where it hasn't cleaned in the room.
