Excellent, I come across lots of academics, who know that global warming is a natural earth cycle, the climate models are flawed (rent-a-model). However funding for there dept./projects has to be tied to carbon capture/sequestation concepts/ideas. We will look back at this in 10 - 15 years and be amazed thyat we could be lead like sheep to adopt imperfect science.

Emotion: the feelings of those who see environmental policy as preserving their standard of living versus those of people who see it as a barrier to increased wealth. The former has made great strides recently.There are decision models based on imperfect or incomplete knowledge. Those decisions are still being made, however, in the perceived best-interests of the decision makers, and not necessarily those of the rest of mankind.Your $40 trillion argument is the most compelling I have heard. |
