I don't know the details, but the credits on the record are Clinton-Shider-Spradley and Ted Currier is listed as co-producer. Are you saying Chong/Spradley did the vocals and lyrics as well?

Chong did the entire Atomic Dog track by himself. When Chong gave up his copyright he had no idea that it would be sampled so much 10 years later. He signed away millions in sampling and publishing money

David Lee Chong = David SpradleyStory of Atomic Dog as told by GC in an interview, he ad-libbed the vocals over the backwards drum track (Ted Currier) 'without committing to a key' and then let he David Spradley add the keyboards.Actually GC in the interview said Bernie Worrell did the keys, but that's clearly wrong...
