Too bad you (Gamso) didn't know about the government of Norway's pension fund. It has created an ethics counsel to screen all of its investments. Wal-mart got the boot and so did Boeing. The fund gets returns as competitive as any top fund and holds $400 billion in assets. This just goes to show that you can be socially responsible without suffering economic loss.
