I hear this song today, and I think back to when the Politics (Regan et al.) where really dancing. Then I look at the news today (Obama,McCain,Gore and the star of them all Hillary Clinton) I guess they're still dancing. Re-flex made a classic.

thank you for posting this! takes me back to jr. high! this song rocked then and it still holds up 20 years later!..plus, i've been searching for this song for awhile but i didn't know the name of the band! thanks again! i'm dancing while i'm typing this!...---"mom! where's my bugle boys pants and my over-sized don johnson neon shirt!??"

Hey, another Baxter fan! Nice to meet ya. (I keep telling him it's not just me!) ;)It's the mustache, isn't it? LOL! Oh, that Groucho mustache just slays me. And Bax once told me how they put "wax" (I think he meant prosthetic putty) on his face and slicked down his hair (aw... his HAIR!) for his scenes as the D.J. What a trooper, eh? Method actor!And, you know what's funny? The way his personality comes across in the video? He is *exactly* like that; a real sweetheart, and wickedly funny.

You're very welcome! Yes, I'm personally looking forward to the CDs. I loved Re-Flex in the mid '80s, but got re-hooked (and then some) with the CD release of "Politics" in '94, which is ironic, because they'd been disbanded and scattered across the globe for about a decade by then. I'm heartened to see there are others like me who wished more for them, and I think the guys are as (pleasantly) surprised as anyone at the following they still have and which continues to grow. They deserve it, IMO.

Many thanks my friend for such heplful info-I cannot fathom as to why this band were not more of a commercial success-I always thought of them as a UK version of WangChung-impossible to pigeon-hole into a genre-maybe that was the problem-a real shame.Anyway at least this box-set will hopefully re-awaken interest in the band!! Once again many thanks!!

(Tried replying yesterday but for some reason it never posted, so trying again.) Yes, the CD set is for real. There was also supposed to be a vid for a *very* early Re-Flex song (circa '79 Bax said) called "Mindless Dancing" released about this past June, but it, too, has been delayed. I don't yet know what the new date might be (I need to ask again). "Mindless" is a real kick, with a bit more of a punk/new wave sound than "Politics" material. I love it and can hardly wait for others to hear it!
