well, are you flying first class? and Which route are you flying? If you are flying economy class, i think they give free drinks..not sure about meals though..

He sounds a bit condescending at times. I.e. the closest exit behind you. Yes, we all may know, but sometimes we need to be reminded, otherwise, we wouldn't have the need for safety demos. =P
