Just like DJ Food (mashup culture)... just like DJ Spoony (remix culture)... just like Coldcut... this man is taking his talents and applying them to educate about the state of beatboxing and its place today. This was filmed at a convention I attended and I can tell you, it wasn't just about throwing down beats through a crappy soundsystem in a club, it was where can beatboxing go sonically and visually. Beardyman is more performance artist than conventional beatbox, proven at Bestival '08...

because its just a looping station dude, you lay down multi-tracks and then play them over and over again, and then lay down more and then eventually end up with a song.its still beating boxing though
