I agree. From playing metal on guitar I've learned a lot about music theory and how metal (most of it, anyway) relates so much to classical music. There's a lot of intelligence in metal, but sometimes people think otherwise because of the mainstream's stereotype of talentless, and chaotic noise. Who provokes more thought, Schuldiner or Hannah Montana?
