If you get nothing from the words and their meaning, then you get nothing from the music. The music isn't just melody. Melody is just sound. Music is a conection, an understanding. People who only connect with music because of it's sound are the same people who are responsible for the horible state music is in today. Music should be touching because it means something, not because it sounds sweet. Flyleaf's touching because they put faith and hope in their music, which you get from their lyrics.

I really dont give a crap about a band being a christian band,and singing about Jesus or any religious thing.What touches me in the music, is the music :) not the lyrics and their meaning...the gitar,drum,bass,other instruments,the singer's voice and singing style,and maybe catchy lyrics what is important.(that's why Im not a big fan of rap :P)It doesn't matter if the singer is singing about watching the walls for hours, or eating a snack in the kitchen :).So in my view the song is really good.
