Yea, it can run all of the modern software. Except of course the new gen games, whitch I dought it has the GPU (graphics) for..Just be sure to get the fastest CPU and most ram! its WORTH IT so dont go cheap on that..

I don't have a EEE pc 900 but I ordered one, but I suppose it could run photoshop if you put or order one with Windows Xp on it. I dont' see why it couldn't run xp

Probably microsoft works. Since its windows OS it has WORDPAD at the very least.

Trust me. With a air vent direct underneath the HDD you will hear the clicking. Poor design flaw for the MSI Wind.

Right i want to buy one of these to use it for college since i do photography and need a small laptop that i can take on themove and upload my photos to, but i also want something to be abele to do my assighnments on but i dnt know wot word proccesing system it has, and can it run photoshop cs3? so please reply and help me!!!!!

IMO HDD's arent that loud, the noisiest component on this thing just like on most of the laptops must be the processor's cooler...
