thats what a live preformance is people. you got to try new things when your up there singin your songs. if not then whats the point of going to see someone preforme live. Then just listen to the album version.

I love this song, but am a little dissapointed with how it came out live. I love Imogen Heap though.

i must use flanger, chorus, a litle reverb and modulator! if u have a pc with good processment you may use FL studio 7 to apply after record but if you u wanna play live you must use an effects processor! they are expensive but very usefull seek for boss vt-1 to have an ideia how it works

you musical retards with your criticizing comments. she did a great job performing this song live. really great job. of course song will always sound a bit worse live then it's studio version, but she did really well.

So, what hardware/software does she use for the pitch modification? Cause thats awesome... does anyone know?

sometimes artists should just stick to the melodies they sing for the studio, beacuse its wat the fans hear n its wat they expect if they go to see them live, the studio version of this is way better i think

Wow. I love it. Proves that on the album it's really all her. She's so talented!

She uses a TC Helicon VoiceLive box via midi from her keyboard. The box filters her voice, to the pitch from the note she plays. That sound is then mixed with her own unfiltered voice. Easy! Whats not easy, is "playing" your own voice while you have to sing in tune on top, LIVE! She makes a few chord mistakes, but overall, this is a very very good performance. Respect!! |
