This was to be a response to the ghost town video of Thunder Bay - but they removed it (not sure why as it's something all Thunder Bay residents need to accept and take seriously). This video is a slide show of photos taken around Thunder Bay over the past few years. Thunder Bay is nestled is some of the finest natural scenery and is a great place to live. No smog, no traffic jams, low crime, good people, low cost of living, brand new hospital, university, and high-tech industry are all reasons that make Thunder Bay one of the top cities in Canada to call home!

Thunder Bay is a great city. Sure we are losing some of our forestry sector, however we have a great tech sector in the making.Perhaps some of the negative talkers should enroll in our brand new meical school or seek employment at our world class cancer research center. When they searched the DNA of the unidentifed child of the Titanic, and the "Bones of Jesus of Nazarath" where did they go? oh yeah our world class palio DNA Labs. I think I'm done how. Have a good summer.

The video title "Thunder Bay- Scenic Photo's" is a mispresentation of the content. Not one of the images shows the City of Thunder Bay, the area around Thunder Bay, yes. Based on the previous record of this person, the last video refering to Thunder Bay being a Ghost Town was also incorrect. With that said, if the effect of this person's actions was to engage people into discussion as to what really exists here, he did acheive that! That is why i am here.

You cannot justify this video as one depicting Thunder Bay , It's nice but does not show even one house, one business , one street or anything inside the city regarding urban life. It's very good however showing the natural aspect of the country in and around the city. The scenes in this video are beautiful, I never saw one scence depicting the city, though It's in the title of your slide show video.

Thats the scenery AROUND Thunder bay...most nice places you have to DRIVE to go see, most of the city itself SUCKS. lol

nevertheless, scenery isn't going to be enough to keep people living here.

not ONE pic of the city itself. you can see stuff like this anywhere in northwestern ontario. the old fort, the train station, downtown are some suggestions to show in a video.

i live in the southside and its a pile of shit.lots of crime, not alot of jobs and more.ya we live on nature's doorstep but it sucks 4 me and ppl im frends with cuz im 14 and my oldest frend is almost 15,we cant legally drive yet (i can drive but not legally) so were stuck in town....
tbmark (March 28, 2007 at 4:25 pm)
The point of this movie was to show the great outdoors we have at our doorstep. All these photos were taken within an hour or two drive of Thunder Bay. The nature and scenery is the prime resource Thunder Bay has and the reason people love this city - not our downtown cores.
