@koriko88 You misunderstood the message. When he says Europeans he means Euro-descent people as a whole (the west). I don't doubt that you learned that in school and I did too. However until recently schooling curriculum was very different. It used to be that the middle east was "greater Europe" since it was discovered to be the place where civilization started. Even today eurocentric bias persists.
