It seems like another hoax to me also. However the burning of magnesium dust has already been done. I am not sure if it was liquified or not. Arn't there some chemical reactions with aluminum that will produce hydrgen gas? I guess a mixture that needed heat like that of the combustion chamber could work. But, I am not familiar with this.

"You need 8000 l of water to produce one liter of Biodiesel" Where did you find that figure? Kind of a braod statement considering you don't mention which crop consumes that much water. There are numerous unexplored sources, primarily alge which will happily grow in the waste water from agriculture runoff, meat processing and paper manufacturing. If you google around a bit you'll find that alge has the greatest potential to produce biodiesel of ANY crop.

so what?! Nothing new, to have biofuels!! Half of Brazil runs on biofuels!! But what are the cost (from an ecological perspective)??? You need 8000 l of water to produce one liter of Biodiesel, huge monoculture with a devastating effect on the environment, price increase of food in these regions. Don't tell me biodiesel is free, neither from an ecological nor from an economic perspective!! Isn t there anyone who s talking some sense here???!!
