This video features two live deer that are featured in Larry Zach's painting "Big City Bucks". See the painting at http://www.zachwildlifeart.com... This video footage is a bit shaky because it was taken with a handheld camcorder at a high magnification. It shouldn't keep you from seeing how huge the buck is!Story behind the video:Both deer in the Big City Bucks painting were captured on videotape late in October of 1998. This video was taken in an old residential area, south of Grand Avenue, in Des Moines, Iowa near Terrace Hill, the governor's mansion.The first buck in the video is a smaller bodied buck with an enormous non-typical rack. Notice the mowed lawn and street light. This is the buck in the foreground of the Big City Bucks painting. At the time the non-typical was being videotaped the big ten point was across the street with a doe. If you look close you may notice that the non-typical buck is limping as he walks off, possibly the result of a disagreement over which buck would get the doe.The second deer in the video is a huge bodied buck, carrying a large 10 point rack. As he starts to walk off you will notice a vehicle and house in the background. This is the buck running in the background of the Big City Bucks painting.

lol kid thats not how you tell weather its an older deer or not ive shot an 1 1/2 yr old before with a bigger gut than that that is a 6 yr old whitetail right there lol....compare its length of legs to the body. size of the briscut dis coloration on the snout... mass an wear on the horns and mostly the wear on its teeth but youll have to shoot it to tell that

That rack is amazing. I hope to kill one like that one day. Really old mature buck but the rack is still very even. BEAUTIFUL MOUNT!
