The ironic part is that Hip Hop started in the poorest inner cities in America. Yet most of todays mainstream rappers are some of the most ********, arrogant, show offs of any other genre out there. Again, this is "NOT ALL" rappers, but most "mainstream" rappers. Todays (mainstream) rappers dont have anything creative to say anymore,or do something "creativ". (artistic whatever..)Like I said not all rappers are like that ut mostly mainstream!!)

Their basically throwing it in your face, reminding you of what they have and what you *DONT* have.(I am not jelous =)) Theyre teasing the people that are making them rich. And all they have to do is sit back, put a few weak beats together with a catchy hook, while theyre sitting back and enjoying this lavish lifestyle. Not to sound like a kindergarten teacher, but that isnt a very nice thing to do.

I knew someone would give me this answer ;DCmon, when it all comes down to it, arent most of the mainstream rappers nothing more than a bunch of show-offs? Look at these rap videos, they are showing off their women, their cars, their houses, their clothes, their money, their bling, their status, their popularity.

you obviously dont look hard enough if you cant find rap that isnt about money, and 50 doesnt always rap about just money and sex. but really who cares? money is good, and so is sex, why not talk about it.

why do rappers only talk about sex,money,girls? (at least the mainstream hip hop...) there has to be some good underground rap somewhere...I dont get it...kinda boring and annoyingits not about the music anymore its about the money thats so sad
