I was commenting on the drummer, not St. Holmes - St. Holmes voice is awesome. if the drummer is playing too fast, not digging it. Yes I play and sing great. What prompted this was I was thinking St. Holmes was the new singer of Foghat - I was mistaken.

it always amazes me that another person can say someone else sucks...do you play? can you play? i happen to know this guy and believ me HE CAN PLAY...he happened to have walked in and just did this on the spot...so unless you can do better and post a clip to show it, i suggest you rethink your verbage...

You know I love Ted Nugent but his ego ran this guy off from the band years ago. Listen to St. Holmes on Workin Hard Playin' Hard on the second Nugent album I think it was. His vocals are unreal! Ted can't sing a lick and is too egotistical to realize it!

TOO FAST BECAUSE THE DRUMMER IS WEAK (sucks should I say) -- I had NO IDEA DEREK was the voice of STRANGLEHOLD - everyone thinks nugent sings this song ?????But yes - that drummer SUCKS!

You are so right! Derek is fabulous - but he's playing this way, way too fast. Most songs are better played faster - but Stranglehold is not one of them.
