You know if you added a new mag egector for leftys and rightys too use and put in a new gas piston system that would fix all the probablems of the m16 series.

Will this field strip work exactly for the smith and wesson ar15?

They are all good. Just get a name brand. If you want a full auto you will need to get a tax stamp from a class 3 dealer. The rifle isn't much more. The tax stamp has to be applied for through A.T.F. They aren't that much really.

can someone help me I'm looking to purchase an ar15 but i don't know which manufacture i should go with dpms or bushmaster how reliable are they? are there any cheaper more reliable brands? thanks!
fusionstar916 (September 21, 2008 at 8:17 am)
yes and no, some manufactures make full auto versions for the military and law enforcement. Civilians can only get semi auto versions now unless they pay thousands (and i mean $10,000+) of dollars for a registered one from a private collector.ar-15s and varients are civilian versionsM16 M4 are military firearms.
