i droped a pallet of corrugated cases at work once fom a counter balence fork truck! not as impressive as that. As the bus left the containment of the river its weight increased exponentially i reckons! thus making the drivers arse loosen lol hope hes ok

Question, if there was water in the bus, which created alot of extra weight, why didnt they go smash the all the windows out before pulling the bus out? Then the bus would have contained alot less water.

You're exactly right. The crane has a scale telling how much weight is being lifted. The operator never should have made the pick.

nope, but thats ingenious
Bosmob (March 19, 2008 at 12:40 am)
they should make a quick release lever in the crane's cabin, just in case this shit happens!! or do they already do that?
checkoutdude (March 17, 2008 at 12:05 am)
water load in bus... probably made it heavier!

I feel sorry 4 the person who was controling it

No decent crane driver would have tried to lift such a weight in that manner. For a start, the crane was not nearly heavy enough.
