Shooting my Beretta M9, one of my favorite guns. Low recoil, accurate, and reliable. No wonder it is the official pistol of the Army.

classics like a 1911 are cool but have a lot of cons, and m9 is one of the best these days.

Thanks again..I went and shot again today and tried a couple dif models of the Sig 9mm, and a Springfield but nothing compares to how the Beretta felt to me..the model Beretta i like is the px4 storm which is a new model i think but i guess if beretta is a good brand i wouldn think they would start making bad ones?..how much did the recoil guide rod spring cost?..thanks again for all the help/info!

Drawbacks of M9 pistol: Too large to conceal, too bulky to be gripped easily, generally useful only for freefires. Great combat gun but not useful when it comes down to civilia use.

Chris38355, yes the Beretta 92 series is just as every bit reliable as a Glock and/or any other top firearm out there. I had an earlier series Beretta 92F that I gave to my father a couple of years ago. Prior to giving it to him, I put 20K (yes that's 20,000) rounds thru it without one single malfunction of any kind. The only upkeep required was a basic field strip and cleaning after every range trip and I replaced the recoil guide rod spring every 5000 rounds. Glocks/Beretta run about $550 new.
