Absolutely brilliant !! Sylvia's mother was a huge hit when I was a boy, and to this day, I never tire of listening.Amazing voice Dennis, love it :)

its to bad that time gets everyone.dennis is still great, his voice still great. but i want to remember him as the fun and good time young person he always was in 60s and 70s.

I saw Dennis and Dr Hook several years ago at the Idaho State Fair. Dennis sang this song a cappella; alone on the stage. The most awesome moment I have ever experienced at a live concert. The audience was so stunned that there was several minutes of complete slience ater he finished, and then thundering applause. God, I miss their music

I was 12 yrs old when this was released in the UK and my Mother absolutely hated it. I loved it and it's still one of my all time favourite songs. It has to be Dennis singing it, though. No one else comes close to the emotion he puts into it.
