I used to hate this song just because of the sound - it was different, it wasn't what was on the radio, it was not my kind of music, then one day I sat myself down and actually LISTENED to what he was saying now Gnarls Barkley is one of my all time fav groups along with this song.

just when it seemed this genre couldn't get any more shallow, pigeon-holed, and commercial, Cee-lo and Danger Mouse team up to remind us just how poignant rap can be. i like to call this song "mainstream underground", because we have a saying where i come from..."rap isn't dead, its just underground".thank god this relic was dug up. we're all better for it.
