mat kearney is awesome. his music is soft and usually acoustic and it has a nice tune that can get stuck in your head. he sings softly too. i also like Renaissance!

He is an ex-youth pastor turned musician - he started off rough in college (drugs etc..) but found Christ and has been living for the Lord ever since. He has good cross over appeal because his lyrics are subtle in their message.

Same here. How did you refer to it? I'd describe it as the song that goes "lala-something..put the pedal down" then my friend's face would light up in recognition. ("Oh yeah - the 'put the pedal down' song!' )
