There are a LOT of games for Linux, including full 3D and free. If you want something commercial and windozish, you can always use wine on it.For Office there are plenty of programs too, most famous being OpenOffice, whose file format was considered supreme to MSO by MS itself.And for Photoshop, use GIMP or gimpshop if you want *THAT* PS look. Its pretty powerfull.

NSA codes SELinux - linux extended security. Dont know about NASA , but they use some kind of *nix for sure.

For me Compiz Fusion maxed out typically uses ~60MB of RAM out of my 1 GB.
