I can easily say that these women hate this white-male dominated society in which we live. (But praise God that I am too educated to make such claims)! If in fact you are a history major you need to go back and read about the history of African American in this country. You would soon discover that Morehouse, and other instutions, are a testament to struggles and sacrifices made by past generations of African Americans. Knowledge is power!

As far as Morehouse "conditioning" men to think a certain way is a bunch of malarky! Each individual has his own reason for attending this fine institution. What about all the white women who attend Smtih College, Wellesley,Sweet Briar, Agnes Scott? I'm pretty sure alot of them wanted to be in an environment that strongly encouraged female empowerment. Some may have come from high schools in which males were always in the highest leadership roles.

Morehouse, like all other HBCU's takes pride in being deeply rooted in the African American community. However, it comes as no suprise that someone as feeble minded as yourself would label that as, "anti-white" or "socialist". Besides, I posted my comment 5 months ago. Why are you JUST now responding back?

politicaldebauchery, where are you a history major? Backyard University? For you to make such unwarranted claims against this institution is SO DISRESPECTFUL! I guess you weren't hip to things when Morehouse had its first white student body president in 1998. Or what about all the countless white men, as well as other races of people (including women) who've graduated from Morehouse College School of Medicine? (The first non-black graduating in 1970)?

I don't care if blacks and whites NEVER get along. I care more about us blacks helping each other out and getting along better within our own community and helping one another. It is a beautiful thing to see so many young black men working hard at their goals and seeing them achieve them. Why does it matter whether or not whites are there beside them?!!!Pro-Black does not = anti-white.

You can see that Morehouse has conditioned these men to think and behave a certain way. Every one of their statements sounds exactly the same in response to why they choose to attend Morehouse. "Morehouse is the finest instituion where (BLACKS)" . . . "I choose to attend Morehouse because I went to all (WHITE) high school" . . .

I care because you fucking Socialists are furthering the stratification between blacks and white, yet you all preach in the prison walls of your classrooms about compromise and diversity. You cult-bigots are advancing the ideals of black supremacy and marginalizing ethnic identities by creating an all black despotic conglomerate.

As a History major, I'm well aware of that. Integration applies to all schools. But Morehouse doesn't think it applies to its institution given its 99% black majority. Morehouse wants to create an all black institution, in which black men are conditioned into anti-white activists and socialists. It is not surprising that it took over 140 years for Morehouse to graduate its first white valedictorian. Surely you would agree that speaks well for diversification. Stupid!

You are true about that statement. You should practice what you preach! |
