AutoCAD running on Ubuntu Dapper, XGL installed with some cool effects; that's a nice way to try my simple but powerful Geforce 4 Go MX 440.. I wonder how this works on some 6800s or 7800s!

I always told: when only 2 apps get their Linux incarnations Windows will instantly die: Photoshop and AutoCAD ...... as for video is nice cool, but i doubt any serious CAD user need and ever will use all that effects

No, i work with 2005 and dont have any versioning sickness. :PThere isnt any need to use 2008, maybe if you have a new big computer with Vista and you want to make it even slower.

Currently AutoCAD 2008 works. And 2005 works perfectly, i have been working on a tutorial on Wines AppDB.So, it DOES work.

Get 30% percent of corporate desktops to run Linux and Autodesk will make a Linux version of the AutoCad.

ohhhhhhhhh, this is is ama.... is a crap, yes autocad runs in linux but its imposible working, only autocad 2000 works (50% and slow) realy the commands are realy slow, yes the video shows a fluid movement but whe you try to draw line by commands the program is realy slow.
